Mt. Lemmon is both an tourist attraction as well as an area to experience outdoor adventure in the Tucson area. Located a short distance outside of Tucson, (25 miles) the mountain itself rises 6000 feet above the desert floor. It is located in the Coronado National Forest and offers a wealth of hiking, climbing and outdoor recreational opportunities.
