Oracle Historic Sites & Interpretive Centres
Historic Kannally Ranch House tours and child nature educational programs offered. Educational programs are developed to focus on basic ecologic principles, and to enhance public awareness of the importance of safeguarding natural resouces. The park offers educational programming to organized groups by advanced reservation and programs are offered Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday mornings during the school year.
This desert park offers camping, hiking, picnicking, bicycling, horseback riding, plant and wildlife viewing, and an archaeological site, all just a few minutes from Tucson. Catalina State Park is located within Coronado National Forest, and is managed by Arizona State Parks in cooperation with the U.S. Forest Service. The park encompasses 5,493 acres at elevations near 3,000 feet.
